DescriptionWIN 55,212-2 mesylate (WIN 55212-2) is a potent cannabinoid receptor agonist with Ki of 62.3 and 3.3 nM for human recombinant CB1 and CB2 receptors, respectively; increases extracellular glutamate levels, displaying a bell-shaped concentration-response curve at 0.01-100 nM; increases dialysate glutamate levels the prefrontal cortex from of the awake rats, also demonstrates anticonvulsant effect in vivo pre-treated with 20 mg/kg of pioglitazone.
